Hi there, I’m Alice Carter, and if you had told my 18-year-old self—bench pressing in a dusty college gym and living on protein bars—that one day I’d be a chef helping people transform their bodies through food, I probably would’ve laughed mid-rep.
But here I am.
Today, at 34, I live in sunny Los Angeles, and I spend my days at the intersection of flavor, fitness, and real-life nutrition—developing recipes that support wellness goals without sacrificing taste.

Where It All Began
I didn’t grow up with dreams of being a chef. I started my career as a certified personal trainer, working with competitive athletes and everyday clients trying to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident.
And while training helped people move better, I saw the same issue over and over again:
Nutrition was the missing puzzle piece.
You can’t out-train a poor diet, and life’s too short for food that feels like punishment.
From Dumbbells to the Dinner Table
That realization brought me from the gym to the kitchen. I enrolled in culinary school in L.A., trained under chefs who taught me how to honor real ingredients, and started building meals that fuel the body and feed the soul.
I began crafting recipes that are:
